TEACHING TRAINING COURSES
2020-2021 CAMBRIDGE SESSIONS
Professors from the Bariloche Exams centre, which is inside the Saint Stephen's college in the Villegas' street building, get in contact with CUP (Cambridge University Press) and with knowledgable speakers on ESL teaching, who come to deliver the new approaches of teaching and new methodologies to implement in the ESL class.
In 2018 and 2019 I had the opportunity to attend some of the English meetings which took place at Saint Stephen's primary building, where I did my practicum.
Most of the speakers were experts on teaching young language learners English as second foreign language.
I went to the dissertations presented by Mariano Quintero, Sarah Hillyard, Sofia Besenyi, Mark Whelan, and Fabiana Parano. Those meetings were a great chance to know a bit more of how to implement games, drama and pretend play inside the classroom through very simple tasks.
In 2019, I had the pleasure to meet Fabiana Parano, drama English teacher, who is very good at teaching students English through drama play. With her "Stories in a bag shows", she showed us how to catch student's attention through very simple short stories, pretend play and games.

SCAFFOLDING TECHNIQUES TRAINING COURSE (2020)
ANOTHER GREAT SITE
TO KEEP ON OTHER
TEACHING TRAINING COURSES
IS THE CLIP EDUCATION,
WHICH PROVIDES
TEACHERS WITH SHORT-PERIOD COURSES.
IN MY CASE, I WANTED TO
DO A COURSE ABOUT NEW
SCAFFOLDING TECHNIQUES.
IT WAS A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE,
EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ONLINE
DISTANCE COACHING, I COULD
EXPAND MY KNOWLEDGE A BIT
MORE ON THIS CONCEPT.

SELF-MANAGED TEACHING TRAINING COURSE, WITH THE SEAL OF APPROVAL OF THE EDUCATIONAL OFFICE FROM RIO NEGRO (2023)
During this year, I have also prepared myself to do some online training seminars, some of them focused on problematical issues, such as:
1-Grooming and cyberbullying (signs and how to teach the topic inside the classroom, what types of resources and activities to present to our adolescents)
2-Troublesome consumption was a seminar which was much more theoretically-oriented, giving much more detailed information as regards types of consumptions and how to deal with them, like psychological tips to follow if we have students who are struggling with this problem.
3-The last training course was based on Chat GPT, which I also had two extra training courses, one at Instituto Superior Patagònico during the institutional period and one at TESLO Ecuador (A private online English institute from Ecuador with a two-days-seminars for free about Chat GPT, its main features, how to teach with it and online resources to use and implement in the classroom)
This course was highly enriching and meaningful since I could get to know more in depth what Chat GPT does, its drawbacks and benefits, how to implement it and use it as a tool.
